"Great location"

I really like the location of this hotel as Sherbrook Street is central to great shopping, restaurants, attractions, etc. while being more refined than other areas of the city. Our king room was very spacious, clean and quiet and the staff at the front desk were very helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

I spent five nights at BEST WESTERN Ville Marie during the national debate tournament. Rami at the front desk was amazing. He was super friendly and exceedingly helpful. Several times I asked for his recommendation for restaurants. He always considered what I wanted to eat and how much I wanted to spend. His recommendations were perfect each time. He also provided a map and drew our route, and provided directions as well. The couple of times that he wasn't at the front desk, I was disappointed. The others gave good information as well, but not with the same courtesy and enthusiasm as Rami.

"Great Hotel. Great Location. Great Staff."

My wife and I and our two teenagers stayed at this hotel for a weekend. It was our first time at this hotel and believe me it will not be our last. Our room was large with two double beds that were really comfortable. The bathroom was quite large. Everything in our room and the hotel in general was very clean, neat and tidy. It has a main restaurant, a bar and a small cafe. It has valet parking with a rate comparable to local public parking sites. It is within easy walking distance of many good restaurants and shopping. Front desk and other staff that we met were very professional, friendly and helpful. When we checked out Sunday, there was a restuarant charge on the room invoice that we felt was not ours. Front desk staff took down my home phone number and promised to look into it on Monday. On Tuesday, I received a call from Remi at the hotel confirming the additional charge was not ours and that it had since been removed from credit card account. On our next visit to Montreal we will definitely return to this hotel.

I would like to take this opportunity to say it was an absolutely amazing experience. From the food, the bedroom, the service, the outlook of the hotel - everything was first class and no complaints at all!

"Thank you for your wonderful service"

From April 25 to 30. The staff were so pleasant and helpful and the meals were excellent. I particularly was thankful for the help with my food allergies. I have never been to a banquet when I could eat the meal and it was delicious. I will definitely return when I visit Montreal on my own.

"The only place to stay in Montreal"

Excellent location, excellent service, excellent accommodation. Rami is amazing. He wil make you feel like you are the only guest. There is no reason to stay anywhere else in Montreal. And the coffee in the coffee shop truly must be the best in Montreal!

"Amazing Customer Service, Beautiful Rooms"

We have stayed at the Hotel three times in the last two years, and I must say, our stay is always been enjoyable. The rooms are beautiful and clean, the location is so convenient, but to top it off, Rami, is an amazing person and employee at the hotel. He always goes over and above to accommodate and make sure you are pleased with your stay. Very nice man that is always willing to help and make your stay very comfortable.

I have been to the BEST WESTERN Ville Marie two times now on business and I must say that the staff have been wonderful and very accommodating. They have made my stays with them very comfortable. I highly recommend staying here. There is plenty of shopping a few minutes walk and amazing restaurants. Rooms are spacious and very clean. For the price, this place is a MUST stay when you travel to Montreal.

This is my second time to Montreal and staying at the BEST WESTERN. The manager Sam is wonderful!!! He is so sweet and accommodating to me and my friends. The staff has always been so helpful and friendly.

The location is great, close to shopping, hiking on Mount Royale and subways. The rooms are very clean and the beds are soooo comfortable. ahhh!

Can't wait to come back to Montreal - thanks BEST WESTERN!

"Awesome staff!"

I travelled to Montreal on a business trip for 2 days and stayed at the BEST WESTERN Ville Marie for 2 days on January 28-29. A very pleasant stay. I was impressed by the awesome attitude of the staff there, always smiling and at your service. Great location in the heart of downtown. Can be a bit noisey at night... but hey, its downtown! Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Definitely a positive experience! I recommend it!

"Charming Hotel in a Wonderful Location"

This is a charming hotel with a European feel in a wonderful location, very near to McGill University, St. Catherine's St. (a major shopping area), Mont Royal Park (a scenic area with hiking, biking and running trails), and not too far from St. Denis St. (a fun, colorful street). We stayed there twice in 2011 while we looked at McGill for our daughter. We walked everywhere but it is also close to the Metro (subway) which is pretty extensive and easy to use in Montreal. The staff is friendly and very helpful, especially the manager, the front desk staff and the concierge. The lobby and sitting room are charming, and the rooms are comfortable and well-kept. The coffee shop downstairs, Café Castel, makes grabbing breakfast or a light lunch easy.

"An Unexpected Gem"

I travel for business and was tired of the excessive charges and surcharges of the premium chain hotels. Searching for hotels in Montreal, I discovered the BEST WESTERN Ville-Marie and saw that it received good ratings and decided to give it a shot. It's in the heart of the Montreal business district, and easily accessible to offices, shopping, and so on.

Boy, was I impressed! The hotel was very clean and modern, and the staff delightfully attentive and responsive. The beds were a definite step up in quality and comfort over others in this class, and the heating and ventilation systems were quite (a big problem for me).

he best surprise for me was the Lebanese restaurant, which surprised me at a BW. It was recommended that I try the fillet mignon shish-kababs, and they were succulent. The wine list featured a Lebanese choices as well, that accented the meal nicely.

This hotel definitely hits the mark for business-oriented travelers who need good value but appreciate a fine experience. I was delighted and will definitely return.

I stayed at your hotel August 20 - 26 of this year. I was with the group from the YMCA. From the moment I checked in on Sunday afternoon until I left early on Friday morning, I was treated with the utmost respect and courtesy.

When I checked in, I asked the receptionist where to go shopping. He told me where to access all the underground shopping. He was very courteous and helpful. When I came back, he asked me how it went. I was very pleased with his attention. The personal touch is so important. Also, when I checked in, I asked for my breakfast vouchers. The clerk didn't have any and said he would check with the YMCA. The next time I came back, the vouchers were there. I thought that was very prompt service.

I was usually the first to arrive at breakfast every morning. I was immediately met with a cheery, "Good morning. Would you like coffee?". One morning I was at breakfast for fifteen minutes by myself and had a wonderful chat with the server.

Our room was a little cool so I stopped by the desk and asked for a heater. A worker with a heater turned up instantly at our room door.

I had an excellent healthy supper in your dining room one evening. It was sole with grilled vegetables and roasted potatoes. I loved it. I was by myself and the waiter was very attentive.

On the morning I left, I was in the dining area before breakfast was set up. It seemed no problem to the waiters that I was early, and coffee appeared miraculously. After breakfast, a cab was called for me and it was there in five minutes. When I sneezed, the receptionist offered me a tissue. When I sneezed again, she gave me more tissues for my journey.

All of this attention made me feel very welcome. I noticed the clerks paid attention to everyone. I could see smiles everywhere. All people want is to feel good, and your employees know how to do it -- just pay attention to people.

Our first 2 days (arrive: 27/9 - depart: 29/9) of the recent Titan Eatern Extravaganaza tour (EAS125) was spent at your hotel which required an early start on the day of our departure.
